It is divided into the following series: Series I: Lowell's Personal Papers; Series II: Lowell's Writings; Series III: Nancy's Personal Papers; Series IV: Swortzell Duo Personal Papers; Series V: Correspondence; Series VI: Educational Theatre Program, New York University; Series VII: Resource Materials; Series VIII: Programs; Series IX: Sound Recordings; Series X: Oversized; and Series XI: Restricted. All but Series XI have multiple Sub-Series.
